该剧背景设置在北爱尔兰，讲述来自谢菲尔德的19岁主角Jamie成为一艘邮轮的船员，这名得超额工作﹑薪水低迷的主角会上船的原因是她妹妹曾经是船上的工作成员但失踪了，故此他只好亲身来到船上调查。
